Fee Structure

We accept referrals from individuals, voluntary organisations, companies and solicitors. We offer our services to people who are paying themselves or are legally aided.

Referring parties will receive fee notes which will be payable within 30 days or if it is a legal aid matter, when the case is concluded.

Fees vary in relation to the type and level of assessment and the cost is a function of the number of hours required. The following guidelines apply:

  • Hourly rate for professional time-£100
  • Standard Cognitive/Attainment levels Assessment - £800 (IQ/Cognitive abilities, Adaptive skills literacy, numeracy etc.)
  • A report for a special educational needs Tribunal Appeal will typically be in the range £1,500-£1,700 + the cost of any school visits and attendance at a Hearing
  • A report for a complex family court matter will typically be in the range £2,500-£3,000 + travelling and waiting
  • A report for a typical criminal matter will typically be in the range £1,200-£1,500 plus travelling and waiting
  • Court work - £117 per hour
  • Travel (should this apply) - £50 per hour plus 50p per mile for use of car or standard public transport fare rate.
  • Consultations with families to clarify concerns - £50 per hour
  • Work with parents/carers around behaviour management- £100 per hour. This might involve an initial meeting to discuss concerns followed by telephone/email advice and monitoring.

Potential clients are welcome to call us to discuss their concerns and needs for an initial consultation without charge.

We accept referrals from clients in the Republic of Ireland and the broader European Community and charges can be discussed in relation to Euro cost-equivalents.
